Review by hotel critic
During my gourmet getaway at Mittelweg, I stumbled upon culinary treasures just steps away. Red Dog, a mere 0.42 km from the hotel, offered divine dishes that tantalized my taste buds. PALAZZO Nevio Fontaniello, with its elegant ambiance just 0.35 km away, became my haven for a luxurious dining experience. As a passionate food enthusiast, I was intrigued by L'atelier du par ici, a cozy spot 0.40 km from the hotel, where each dish told a story. However, nothing compared to the gastronomic delight within Mittelweg itself. the breakfast spread was a feast for the senses. From succulent fruits to a selection of cheeses and meats, every bite was a medley of flavors. the pastries were a delightful treat, complemented by freshly baked bread that melted in my mouth. the ambiance of the breakfast room added a touch of elegance to the dining experience. For dinner, the hotel's restaurant, Positano Osteria, presented a culinary journey like no other. the innovative dishes were a fusion of traditional German fare and international flavors, creating a symphony on my palate. the ambiance was warm and inviting, making each bite a moment to savor. Alster Cliff, just 1.05 km away, showcased a different side of Hamburg's culinary scene, offering stunning views and a diverse menu that left me wanting more. As an architect who appreciates the fusion of history and modernity, Mittelweg Hotel not only impressed me with its architectural charm but also delighted my senses with its culinary innovations. This hidden gem in Hamburg is a must-visit for those who seek a blend of architectural marvels and gastronomic delights.
